we got a good steal right at the end of recruiting, I'd like to see Guy come here, but no one seems to ever talk about him

Not sure what the deal is with that situation but I can tell you that I saw him on campus right after coach Floyd resigned and he told me that he was just
waiting to see who the new coach would be... I am honestly not sure if he was ever even offered a scholarship or if coach O'Neil even knows who he is...
He has grown a lot since last year when he was 6'4". He is now about 6'7". I have also played pick-up ball with him at the fucla Wooden Center a few times. He goes with a couple of his Stoneridge teammates but, surprisingly, his team loses a lot in the pick-up games. However, he is an absolute beast when he wants to be. I know Sleuth is not a big fan of Guy, but I think Guy would be a huge under the radar steal. He can definitely help this team IMO. He is capable of being a lock-down defender on wings and he can get to the rack and finish with ease. His jump shot is fluid and has great mechanics but is still inconsistent in terms of percentages. Sleuth, do you know if Guy Landry is or was being recruited by the staff?? |

Well, supposedly Floyd had a nice candid conversation with KO about personnel and all the assistants are staying, so KO certainly knows who Guy is.
