although I've heard Sidney has some qualifying problems (seems to be the rule rather than the exception these days). Was his transfer to Fairfax strictly
due to his Artesia coach leaving for ASU? The addition of Washington in next years class changes things dramatically. Lets hope it all works out.

I'd very surprised if UCLA went in that direction. It would be the opposite of what Howland and company have done since they have been there. Lance wanting
to play with Renardo is not a new story. We discussed that here when he visited in the fall. Package deals rarely turn out to happen.

Coach and player is different. Seems like the only player package deals that work out are twins. Who would have thought that Bill Walker and OJ wouldn't
play together in college.

you might want to ask around on Lance Stephenson again. i heard this today from a guy who is the most dialed in guy i know regarding college basketball
recruiting. not looking to argue, just reporting what he told me and his info is usually right on the money
anyway, should be interesting to see where these guys end up, and if they end up together. |

basically all the coaches can do is rebuilt on the fly and hope their returning base is good enough to make some progress. Most interesting to me was the
statement about no time for coaches to teach, just hope for the best.
