Since Ryan's family is establishing a fund for his funeral. I think it would be fantastic for USC to make a tribute to Ryan by taking two actions:
1. having a patch on the jersey of the uniform with Ryan's initials and number, kind of like how you have Rod Dedeaux on our baseball team uniforms, except that: it would be nice if it looked like this: a black circle with white initials RF and white numbers 12.
2. in order to help the funeral fund that was established by his mother, and what would function kind of as a tribute to Ryan, for the athletic department or USC Bookstore to petition a t-shirt made of Ryan. The t-shirt would be showing his face and maybe an action shot of his going to the hoop. Something on the back saying : "In loving memory of Ryan Francis: 1987 - 2006" "you will always be A True Trojan Warrior, our prayers are with you and your family, from the Trojan Family." Proceeds from this to go directly to the funeral fund and to the basketball program.
