one way or the other on the 'husband - wife' coaching combo aspect . . . but I will say this . . . each of the coaches were competent and
well-qualified in their own right before they met and subsequently married. Jody Wynn is more than qualified to be a head coach, herself, at this point, and
as a matter of fact was initially offered the Pepperdine position when Coach Trakh was hired by USC. She declined to return to help coach at her alma mater,
to the relief of MT who was then able to keep his staff intact. I do think that they have always been excellent recruiters and feel that there are advantages
to having both men and women on a coaching staff (not necessarily related . . . ) In general, I wouldn't think that a 'husband - wife'
coaching combo would be much different than any other staff with relatives (i.e., father - son, brothers, etc. ), or even cases where a player's parent
is on the coaching staff, etc. There are pro's and con's to these different scenarios . . .
