I certainly think Coach Trakh has shown himself to be a first rate recruiter and a good representative of the University.
Something, however, needs to change.
If the injuries resolve themselves, a big if, we have a lot of talent coming into the program next year. We need to take advantage of it.
I have no big problem with Mark coming back next year. I still believe, however, there needs to be a change with the rest of the coaching staff.
The husband / wife combo is not working.
Now everyone involved is a really good person but I'd never hire a couple as a team in my business for the simple fact that friction sometimes yields creative positives and real friction is unlikely between a husband and wife (on the job, at least).
I could be wrong.
If, however, the athletic department really wants to invest in this program and decides to part ways with Coach how about investing in Paul Westphal?
It's the one move that combined with winning could make attendance take off at Galen.
