C: Diarra, Vucevic
F: Stepheson, Cunningham, Washington
G: Lewis, Romeo, Simmons, Smith
That's nine. Add Sidney, Johnson, Williams, and Hill, and you're at 13. I guess Momo would take Romeo's scholie, but what if Taj comes back? Cunningham retires?

Let's assume Demar is gone, and we'll leave out Taj for now. Current guys on scholie:

Diarra might me the odd player out | #1

He has seen zilch playing time and my decide to go elsewhere. Johnson was supposed to be a walk on, but got a scholie when one became available. Perhaps he
goes back to being a walk on.

Don't think Gerrity is on scholarship (Sleuth can confirm) - there are conflicting reports, but I don't think Floyd would waste a scholarship to get
1/2 a year from Gerrity.
Diarra has already redshirted, so it is unlikely he would leave. After 3 ACL tears, I can't see Cunningham still playing. He could take a medical retirement scholarship, but I think this is purely up to Cunningham and Floyd wouldn't pressure him to do this. As I said previously, I still expect Simmons to transfer (I don't want him to), but USC is bringing in Hill and Johnson to play the wing and MoMo to play PG with Donte potentially improving, moving Hackett to the wing more, meaning potentially even less playing time for Simmons. Lil Romeo better be off scholarship - he likely buys Rolexes more expensive than tuition. Washington will always be a question mark academically - he has already started to slack off in the classroom ( http://www.latimes.com/sp...2009mar11,0,591038.story ) If Marcus Johnson gets another year, I expect him to be a walk-on again. |

I spoke w/Kasey at the banquet tonight and he said he's all well. Personally, I hope to see Kasey back this fall. He was tearing it up until his injury.

He thinks he's getting a scholarship. | #8
