WEAR CARDINAL (or black with cardinal)
We've had Tim Floyd for 3 years and we've been the the Big Dance twice. We've won 17 games in his first season, 25 games (school record) in the second and at least 20 games this year. Since being in the Galen, we've done pretty well. Looks like we will be in good shape for the near future and the expectation is to be very competitive. This may be the beginning of a very nice run. We've overcome some incredible problems this year. An injury plagued beginning that nobody would have expected us to survive. Not having enough healthy kids to practice. Losing Daniel twice this year to injuries, starting only sophomores and freshmen all year long. This is the most important day of the season. We have a six game tournament to win and it begins with today. Last year we won two and everybody was pretty jazzed. We were leading big time in the 3rd game against the team that won the whole thing.
Now the stage is set, the band is engaged and the floor is ours. Fight-On kids, enjoy the time. Whatever happens, thanks for the season. I will never forget this season. This was our first Founders Season and it was so worth it. The people around us, the outstanding performances, the Galen, it was just fabulous.
