Good for Dez. Hope he surfaces somewhere in the league. I'd love to see him land with the Clippers next season. I'd go to a lot more games to watch

in USC history. I can't believe he hasn't stuck with a team yet, he fits perfect in the NBA, he can score.

Dez is one of the all time great Trojans. Other than maybe Harold (when I was a kid), Dez is by far the funnest I player to watch I have ever seen at SC. He
plays with such enthusiasm and intensity.
There is no question he can score. He could easily be a scoring threat in the NBA. The thing I remember the Seattle coach saying last year when he was with the Sonics was that he can play a little out of control at times. Having watched Dez at SC, I know what he is talking about. However, I would rather have a guy who is playing too hard, than not hard enough. My guess is if he keeps dropping 30 pts a game in the D League that someone will pick him up. The question is whether he can stick with an NBA team long-term. I sure hope so... |

Yeah there was a moment this year during a home game where I was momentarily convinced that all this team needed was a guy to slap the floor on the defense to
get everyone's head in it at once.
