Gerrity isn't eligible unitl late December. Momo will be entrenched as the starting point guard by late December. Momo played against great competition in
high school and with some good work during the summer he should be ready to start because we have no one else at this position. A New York City guard who plays
at Oak Hill is a very advanced freshman.

Lil Romeo? Ryan Wetherell?
Neither, likely will be someone like Noel Johnson or Marcus Simmons. |

No way Momo plays behind Gerrity. You must be a MD grad.

Let me get this straight, there is nothing negative about saying "MoMo also comes with concerns - 2 de-commitment and he has attended three
high-schools"? I'm not saying those are not facts, but to say it isn't something negative is beyond ridiculous.

You also said Donte Smith was a pac-10 level point guard... | #25
The Sleuth wrote: I'm not knocking Momo. I just think that Gerrity a senior, who has played the likes of Kansas, uconn, Gonzaga, etc. Will be better suited to run our offense. Also, gerrity has already been practicing with the team for half a season, so he knows the players and the offense. Whoever starts will have to perform because they have someone right behind them. Marcus simmons also seems like a very likely scenario at the pg spot until Gerrity is eligible. |

I did and I was wrong.
You are way overhyping Gerrity. |

MoMo shares the ability to penetrate into the paint and score | #27

with Gus Williams. I'm very excited for the opportunity to see a probable four year player with the New York swagger and raw guard skills of MoMo Jones.
Those youtube videos show that he has the undeniable ability to score points in bunches. If he is coachable then I see no reason why he can't be an
outstanding four year starter at Troy. He is certainly a cut above ( with apologies to Avondre San ) the other Jones' who have worn the Trojan uniform.

But we shouldn't get excited | #28

According to a post on a football board, you can't get excited about this guy because he is only 6'.

Gerrity is a good player. I went to one of the practices last year and he looked good. After practice, Floyd had a lot of good things to say about Gerrity. I
also wouldn't be surprised if he sees significant action next year. I'm not sure if he starts next year but, he will have an opportunity.
