controversy aside... has anyone had a problem with SC's conditioning?
We played 6 maybe 7 men a game and stuck with some incredibly deep teams that rotated players like crazy. We had great conditioning. If anything I could see him leaving to follow his son, but I don't think he will be let go by SC. |

I'd be more than happy if Coach Rudy stuck around a while. The fitness of the players has been remarkable, especially considering how many minutes some of
the starters had to play this season. Then when you add the article that came out regarding the hiring of fathers, it really makes sense to keep him here.

New to this board but I just wanted to make a few points. Rudy is not the Strength and Conditioning Coach at USC. He is he Strength and Conditioning manager.
This may not seem like a big difference but it surely is. The Strength Coach at USC for the team is Brent Metz. Credit should be given to him if anyone for the
excellent shape the boys have been in. He worked extremely hard with Dwight in the off season to create such a change in Dwight's physique. The distinction
should be made. It just seems inappropriate to me that this has gone overlooked. Requirement for the strength and conditioning position is a certification.
Just some food for thought.

I had never heard of Brent Metz, but he certainly should get recognition. He does a great job, as does Chris Carlisle.
